Lisa doesn’t like to watch anything on television that makes her emotional, then she goes on to list what she does watch: Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice, X Factor. Can anyone watch those without super blubbing at groups of grannies singing ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’; puppies jumping through hoops of fire; and wide eyed warbling youngsters ‘nailing it’ every time but knowing that they might be consigned to pop oblivion (poplivion) any second? We’d be knee deep in soggy tissues and runny mascara about 5 minutes in. Perhaps she means she doesn’t like watching Jeremy Kyle as that just makes her want to hurl a brick at the screen.
